People often want to know whether it’s worth splurging on a professional level high powered blender which can easily cost three times as much as a more affordable one designed for the home cook.
We’ve put two of our favorite high-powered blenders, the Blendtec and the Vitamix, and two of our favorite affordable blenders, the KitchenAid and the Cuisinart.
Through some challenging blending tasks to see what differences there are, we know they will be some differences. We’re not that clueless, alright, so this is just one for the first test. I’m going to make tomato soup. I’m going to put canned tomatoes, olive oil vegetables like onions, garlic, and we’re just going to spin it in each of these blenders, and we’ll see which ones get it hot enough that I’ve cooked my soup in the blender and can I go and yea olive oil to make those don’t splash.
